Our intention is to educate the community about the impact of trauma to create a more supportive and caring environment for trauma survivors to live and heal in.
 

In creating a more healing environment more victims will feel safe enough to come forward and report offending, and a more supportive community will increase the current low conviction rates amongst offenders.
 

Our program provides an annual education program through:
 

• Trauma-informed workshops conducted by HEALnz 

• Media and Social Media campaigning to raise awareness on current trauma issues

• Online educational resources

 

And to support:
 

• Human rights research with a trauma-informed focused.

• Human rights media projects with a trauma-informed focus.
